The Sierra Magina never ceases to amaze me. The short walk from the Puente del Rio Garganton to the Mirador del Gargantón is no exception. The views are quite stunning. I took my two dogs for a walk to the Mirador. According to a signpost, it’s 1.1km from the bridge. In reality, I think it is a lot more!
The Mirador del Gargantón, is within the Natural Park of Sierra Magina, located n the province of Jaén (southern Spain), part of the Cordillera Subbética. There is a dirt track that takes you right up to the Puente del Rio Garganton. From the bridge follow the track to the Mirador del Gargantón.
Along the way, I saw several other signposted walks. I intend to explore this further and will update this post.
