Torre de la Vela, Almogia – The castle is at the highest point of the town. The Arabs built it as a defensive fortress. Upon the arrival of the Christians, it was used to control the Mudejars of the area. It then gradually fell into disrepair. Now only the Torre de la Vela remains – one of the seven in the original castle.
